Zakharchenko: the task of candidates in the primaries is to defeat alien oligarchs, demagogues and excellent speakers
Today, the Forum “Primaries - the honest choice of a free people” took place at the Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theater. All candidates who will take part in the preliminary voting were present at the event.

The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, spoke at the forum.
“Dear friends, we will soon have to hold primary public elections. What do they mean to us? For us, these are the last steps towards gaining our independence, because after the primary elections there will be elections to local councils, which we must be guaranteed to win,” he said.
According to Zakharchenko, the task of candidates in the primaries is to defeat candidates who will come to Donbass from Ukraine to take part in local elections.
“To defeat those people who will come here. And they will come. These are oligarchs, demagogues and excellent speakers, so to win we need strong fighters. These fighters must speak the truth and appear confident. Because we live on our own land, we didn’t come to visit anyone, we didn’t kill anyone, not a single shell fell on the territory of the Kiev, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye regions, not a single child from these regions died from the explosion of our shells , or from a shot from our sniper. We must win,” the head of the DPR emphasized once again.
Presenting the list of candidates for the primaries, Zakharchenko said that “there are people behind me to whom I can confidently say the following: dear friends, the whole Republic believes in you. I relied on you. Each of you and I, we are all ready to give our lives for our country.”
According to Zakharchenko, the motto of the upcoming elections should be the words “You need to serve the people, you can give your life for the Republic, but don’t give honor to anyone.”
The head of the DPR believes that candidates have no right to lose in this battle.
“It is new for us and we face great difficulties, but we are together, we are one people and we will win together, we have no other way,” he concluded.
