Kyiv, February 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Advisor to the head of the SBU Markiyan Lubkivsky announced the detention of an elderly man who brought honey with explosives to Ukrainian fighters.

“I am writing from Novoaidar. Soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the “Chernigov” battalion, found (!) and detained a citizen of Ukraine born in 1951, on January 16 of this year. in Stanitsa Luganskaya, at a checkpoint, he “treated” the Ukrainian military to a three-liter jar of honey, which turned out to contain explosives.
As a result of this cynical terrorist attack, our serviceman was killed and three were wounded. When my grandfather was detained, they found honey on him again. The examination and other investigative actions are ongoing,” Lubkivsky said.
