"For crimes against Donbass." Moscow offered to extradite Protasevich to the DPR
It is noteworthy that against the backdrop of the uproar surrounding the detention of the Belarusian extremist Roman Protasevich, no popular unrest or protests have been observed.
The head of RT, Margarita Simonyan, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Where are the rallies? Where is the incredible huge mass of indignant people who right now should sweep away all government buildings in Minsk demanding the release of Protasevich, the release of Sapega, where are they? Where were they when Navalny was imprisoned, five thousand people came out, ten? Yes, let it be fifty, but it’s funny.
This says one thing: neither in Russia nor in Belarus there is a really huge, justly or unfairly indignant mass of people, native - as they say, for real,” she said
“There is technology, there is numbers, when with a click such protasevichs and navalnye create this mass. And they create its appearance, take it out into the streets and light it up. And then they put me in prison, the technology is gone, no one presses the buttons yet - and that’s it, no one comes out. Well, that's how it happens! And it’s very cool, and as long as this is so, and as long as such people are imprisoned, you and I will have both peace and freedom,” Simonyan added.
“But if only he had been extradited to the DPR,” said TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov. – So that he can be tried there for crimes committed against the people of Donbass. By the way, it would be indicative and beautiful.”
Let us recall that Protasevich served in the neo-Nazi Azov regiment and participated in the punitive operation against Donbass.
