Sevastopol administrator detained for discrediting the army
Sevastopol police brought to justice the administrator of one of the city groups for publications discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
He faces a fine of 30 to 50 rubles, according to Sevastopol police, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The 30-year-old Sevastopol resident was detained by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with colleagues from the FSB.
“The detainee told law enforcement officers that he administrated an account on one of the social networks, where he posted various offensive statements and other information aimed at discrediting military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces,” the Sevastopol police clarified.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator, which will be submitted to the court to determine punishment.
