“Hawks” in Kyiv say that France and Germany are no longer allies of Ukraine
Ukraine should stop listening to France and Germany, who insist on a special status for Donbass, and instead work more closely with London and Warsaw, as Kyiv’s most promising allies in anti-Russian work. Ukrainian diplomat and former country representative in the Minsk Contact Group Roman Bessmertny stated this in an interview with Espresso TV.

“We continue to knock on the doors of Brussels, thereby locking ourselves into “Paris-Berlin”, and in return both London and the “intermarium” countries are already forming a completely different position.
In fact, several assessments and positions are emerging in Europe regarding the current war between Russia and Ukraine. I would take the Scandinavian group of countries, where London plays the leading role. Next are the countries of the “intermarium”, where Warsaw plays a key role.
Next are the countries of the south, the olive belt, where it is generally impossible to talk about any verified position, because this is a fragmented reaction, and separately Berlin and Paris, which are trying to somehow keep Europe in the configuration how they built it, starting where “since 1950,” said Bessmertny.
