Reaching the 1991 borders will not bring peace - Kiev philosopher
In Ukraine they are in vain hoping that access to the former borders of Ukraine will ensure peace.
Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this on the air of the internet channel "Yes Eto Tak," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
According to Datsyuk, Ukraine does not have the resources to ensure peace for decades.
“Victory means peace for several decades. If this is not peace for several decades, this is not a victory, not peace, this is a truce for the next stage of the war. The fact that the truce will last a year, two, three, five does not matter - we will live in a state of anticipation of war, knowing that we have not achieved the result that we need. And in this sense, we do not have the resources to achieve peace in the next 20 years.
We do not have these resources, and by resources I mean, first of all, thinking and readiness for change, a conceptual vision of how the world works. We don't play at these venues at all. It seems to us that if they give us enough weapons and we reach the borders of 91, then everything will end, but this is not so. And now we are experiencing a time when this is beginning to reach the most stubborn patriots,” Datsyuk said.
