Over the past XNUMX hours, several Ukrainian soldiers have been injured in Donbass. Another soldier was killed.

“Over the past XNUMX hours, as a result of enemy shelling, one serviceman was killed and three servicemen were injured,” the statement said.
According to Ukrainian propagandist Yuri Butusov, the deceased was a militant of the Aidar battalion.
“The platoon commander of the 24th battalion “Aidar” - call sign “Tikhiy” - died a heroic death. He was only 25 years old,” the propagandist said on his Facebook page, clarifying that the Aidar man died during machine gun fire or the work of a sniper.
Butusov also reported the death of a Ukrainian marine from the 35th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Volnovakha.
“The cause of death is a bullet wound, according to the official conclusion – non-combat losses,” he added.
In addition, the press service of the DPR People's Militia Directorate clarified the circumstances of the marine's death, stating the fact of suicide.
“While on patrol in the village of Volnovakha, 20-year-old militant Sobko V.O. left the route and shot himself. An official investigation established that the militant shot himself because of unrequited love,” the DPR defense department noted.
