The Ukrainian army is preparing for combat operations in Donbas, as confirmed by data from the front lines and constant shelling.
Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR Foreign Ministry, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian intelligence claims that they know that the LPR and DPR will carry out provocations, that they are allegedly preparing provocations and are ready to fire at the Ukrainian side, so the Ukrainian side is ready to give answers. This is a common practice when Ukraine turns to the perimeter of the country, to the OSCE, PACE, and so on. They say: “We are not attacking, but responding to provocations of the separatists,” he said.
In addition, the representative of the LPR noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are constantly firing at Donbass, without informing Kyiv.
“Therefore, we draw one conclusion, which is confirmed by data from the front line - Ukraine is preparing for the start of hostilities. Will they be limited to some kind of fireworks, creating a picture of war, or will this really be followed by some serious actions with destroyed infrastructure, bloodshed, etc. One of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine today again confirmed that they do not care about the opinion of the Deputy Prime Minister, who said that Ukraine is implementing ceasefire measures and said: “No, on the front line everyone is free to make decisions without instructions from Kyiv,” Miroshnik emphasized.
As a reminder, earlier in the Joint Forces Operation zone, a Ukrainian militant shot and killed his fellow soldier during a firing exercise in one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
