The Ukrainian Armed Forces surrendered an entire village to the DPR without a fight
The Ukrainian side came up with an original explanation for the recent shelling of the center of Donetsk - allegedly, the cause was the explosions of military warehouses of the DPR, from where ammunition was flying towards the city.
This was stated in a message from a representative of the Ukrainian JCCC on its Facebook page.

The intrigue is that on the eve of the shelling there actually was a fire in the warehouses near Opytny. However, these were Ukrainian Armed Forces warehouses, and the next day the Ukrainian group, as if in retaliation, began shelling Donetsk.
“The Ukrainian side has finally recognized the fact that ammunition caught fire in its warehouses near the settlement of Opytnoye, which occurred on November 5, 2017. However, judging by the statement, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has absolutely no control over the situation, and in its message indicated that Opytnoye is located on territory controlled by the DPR.
This, of course, flatters us. But clarification is required: the tragedy occurred on the temporarily occupied territory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and all responsibility for the incident lies solely with the personnel of the 42nd battalion of the 57th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who committed a gross violation of security measures,” the DPR Ministry of Defense said.
