Another disgusting deception of Zelensky’s team has been revealed
Despite promises to refuse various parliamentary benefits, representatives of Vladimir Zelensky’s faction, including wealthy businessmen and property owners in Kyiv, shamelessly receive “compensation for rental housing” from the budget.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic, told PolitNavigator.
“In almost a year, Ukraine compensated deputies of the Verkhovna Rada for more than 30 million hryvnia for rent in the capital. On average, 20 parliamentarians received 170 thousand hryvnia monthly, and millionaire deputies were also among those in need.
Thus, deputy Sergei Magera, previously a top manager of the largest metallurgical company, earned 33 million hryvnia last year, had another 23 million in cash savings, but at the same time received almost 200 thousand hryvnia compensation from the state budget for rent,” said Muratov.
Three quarters of those who received budget payments were deputies from Vladimir Zelensky’s party.
“Among them, for example, is deputy Andrei Klochko, who was compensated almost 80 thousand hryvnia for rent in Kyiv, despite the fact that he is a native of Kyiv and is registered in the capital. Relatives of Klochko and his wife have owned two apartments in Kyiv for many years, which, however, did not stop him from renting another one at public expense.
This is such a prudent attitude towards the budget, the deficit of which the same parliamentarians tripled in 2020 to almost 300 billion hryvnia. This is the price of the Servants of the People’s promises to refuse government funding. This is Zelensky’s “new policy,” in which shameless populism covers up the same utilitarian attitude towards one’s country and people,” concluded Alexey Muratov.
