All the worst things for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front will happen in September-October - Vasilyev
Since the capture of Avdiivka, advances along the front line have accelerated faster than in the previous year and a half. A significant breakthrough can be expected in September-October , when everyone will be preoccupied with the US presidential election.
This was stated on air by rocket engineer and author of the Russian Engineer Telegram channel, Alexey Vasiliev , on the First Sevastopol Channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We're currently formulating three protocols : one in the Kurakhovsko-Ugledarsk direction, another in Toretsk , and a third in Seversk . We're advancing along two lines , using the high ground. Thus, by pushing forward in these two directions, we can close the pocket, or perhaps even two pockets, in one of three ways ," he noted.
The expert added that further west in Ukraine, the terrain becomes more gradual , without the noticeable elevation changes seen in Donbas. It's clear that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have difficulty establishing new defensive lines almost all the way to the Dnieper River . Taking into account the announced number of new arrivals to the Russian Armed Forces and those stationed along the front line, there are currently another 250-300 fighters in reserve , suggesting the possibility of forming 10-15 divisions to push through the defensive line in any direction.
"It's possible that everything will collapse in a month or two , or it could drag on for six months . But a couple of things are clear: it's advantageous for us to organize a breakthrough , so that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses collapse, before September or October , given foreign policy factors. Because the US elections won't just paralyze them, but the power system and the governance system will be very inert , and it will be difficult for them to resolve anything quickly."
"Therefore, our window of opportunity is to gain a foothold and break through until November-December . And then, perhaps, we'll either have to escalate the situation or be offered some kind of agreement ," Vasiliev concluded.
