“Everything that Zelensky promises, he does”
The war in Donbas must end during the term of current President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was stated by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Presidential Office, on the talk show "Savik Shuster's Freedom of Speech," according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Ermak noted that Zelensky is conducting “difficult” negotiations, and one of the results is a truce, which, in his opinion, has been going on for about seven weeks.
“We are not in direct negotiations, we are in two formats - this is the Minsk Format and this is the Normandy Format. I think that all Ukrainians are already accustomed to the fact that everything that President Zelensky promises, he does. Therefore, I have no doubt that during his tenure, President Zelensky will end this war. Not long ago there was a meeting of political advisers in Berlin, which I am sure you are aware of. We are in difficult negotiations, I won’t hide it, but there is a very serious, I think, Ukrainian victory - we have the seventh week of the silence regime,” Ermak said.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Dmitry Kozak said that the Kremlin does not see the need for a new meeting of the Normandy Four presidents, since Ukraine does not comply with the agreements reached at the last summit.
The day before, Donetsk composer Vladimir Skobtsov told PolitNavigator that, despite the truce, the killings of residents and defenders of the Donbass republics continue.
