This was stated by military expert Alexander Danchenko, a retired captain of the second rank, at the "Soloviev Readings" in Sevastopol, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Black Sea Fleet, without leaving its bases at all under the cover of continental missile defense and air defense, is capable of destroying not only all fleets in the Black Sea, but also all the ships of the US Sixth Fleet located in the Mediterranean Sea with its first salvo.
In the Black Sea we are all sunk by the Mosquitoes of our 41st Brigade, as well as by Balami, Bastions, and Rubezhi. The Black Sea is blocked many times. No one will come out from there: neither Romanians, nor Turks, nor Bulgarians. Not to mention the Americans,” Danchenko said.
The current capabilities of the Black Sea Fleet, he said, exceed those of Soviet times.
“Our capabilities are already superior to the Soviet ones. Everyone remembers how they explained to us during the exercises: you will all be drowned in five minutes after the start of the war anyway. Everyone knew this. But not now. We are covered from Khmeimim by a magnificent umbrella. Plus we have continental air defense in Syria. Everything is fine,” Danchenko said.
