If the West gives permission, Ukraine will withdraw from the Minsk agreements.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Vadim Denisenko said this on NewsOne, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"We can abandon them ( the Minsk agreements – ed. ) on one condition: if alternatives supported by the EU and the US are developed. If they are not, then withdrawing from the Minsk agreements would be a self-defeating act," the deputy stated.
Let us recall that Ukraine in words declares the need for compliance, but in reality sabotages the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which provide for the granting of special status to Donetsk and Lugansk - in fact, the beginning of the process of federalization of the country.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Military Center, Taras Chmut, stated that the Minsk agreements, signed but never implemented by Ukraine, allowed Kyiv to buy time to strengthen its army and continue the slow seizure of territory in the LPR and DPR.
