The situation in the village of Moshkovo, Novosibirsk region, threatens to result in mass unrest similar to the pogroms of the American BLM.

The trigger for these turbulent events, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent , was the death last week of Azerbaijani citizen Vekil Abdullayev. He was in a car that a traffic police officer attempted to stop. The Toyota ignored the officers' orders, and a chase ensued.

After some time, the car stopped, the driver and passengers tried to escape.
The police detained one of the offenders and escorted him to a patrol car. At this time, two of those who escaped returned and began attacking law enforcement officers.

One of the policemen drew his service weapon during the struggle, and an involuntary shot occurred.

They tried to provide first aid to the attacker and took him to the hospital, but a few days later, despite the efforts of the doctors, he died.

A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of crimes provided for in Part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Exceeding official powers” and Part 1 of Art. 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Causing grievous harm to health through negligence.” A traffic police officer who accidentally shot and killed a 19-year-old man has been arrested.

“We are closely monitoring developments. I’m sure they’ll try to make Floyd out of him,” political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov wrote in his Telegram channel, hot on the heels.

His prediction came true. More than fifty armed Azerbaijanis arrived in Moshkovo in 10 cars. They besieged the local police station and hospital, demanding that an unwitting killer be handed over to them for execution. If they refused, they threatened to kill the policeman’s entire family.

The riot police who arrived at the scene did not disperse the representatives of the national community. They separated after the head of the Azerbaijani national-cultural autonomy persuaded them to do so.

After this, the Azerbaijanis staged an authorized rally in Novosibirsk in memory of Vekil Abdullayev. Cars lined up on the main street of the city
with photographs of the deceased attached to the glass. In front of the column of cars stood men, also with portraits of Abdullaev.

The incident in Moshkovo outraged many Russian celebrities. “Orthodox oligarch” Konstantin Malofeev believes that those who arrived to carry out the massacre should have been detained by riot police.

“A question for the Azerbaijani diaspora. Perhaps it is customary to achieve justice in Azerbaijan using such methods. Then let all these people, having served the term for their crime, go to Azerbaijan and do as their heart desires. But in Russia we have our own laws and our own understanding of the boundaries of what is permissible. By the way, it would be nice for the police to figure out on what basis those Azerbaijanis who came for the “showdown” are in Russia?” Malofeev wrote.

He believes that the Russian authorities provide the Azerbaijani diaspora with too much freedom.

“In the meantime, we, the Russian people, are watching how, where the authorities and the police are not looking, armed diasporas are becoming power. Worse, they already dare to almost openly demand recognition of their special rights,” concluded Malofeev.

TV presenter Andrei Medvedev agrees with him. He believes that not only those who came to Moshkovo should be held accountable, but also those who spread threats against the policeman and his family on the Internet.

“Tomorrow, a policeman in another region, another city, will think a hundred times: do I need to detain the villain, if, if something happens, I will be made the worst offender? Tomorrow, those who do not care about the law will further establish their impunity, because now it turns out that you can call for reprisals against the family of a policeman, and nothing will happen for it. Tomorrow, many of those who rely on the police will not turn to them - what’s the point if there are cultural autonomies, fraternities, in other words. And those young people who are thinking about joining the police will go somewhere else. I am convinced that this high-profile case should be taken to Moscow,” Medvedev wrote.

Political activist who became a candidate for the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Maria Butina considers it a public duty to protect the police officer who participated in the incident.

“Each of us is now obliged to protect this traffic police officer. Even if what happened, the use of a service weapon, was not an “involuntary shot”, but a targeted one, it would have been 100% within the right field. There is a clear threat to the life and health of a police officer, the Federal Law “On Police” in Article 19 Part 2 clearly states that he is not obliged to warn about the use if there is a danger. Drop all charges against him and reward him for his service. There is no other way,” Butina wrote.
