The war drags on. But Novorossiya is liberated
Why are Russian troops advancing slowly? Because they take care of their soldiers.
Aleksey Selivanov, a former adviser to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who left Kyiv in 2014 and went over to the side of the LPR, and is now the new chief of police of Energodar, occupied by Russian troops, talks about this in his author’s column for PolitNavigator.
...In the LPR, many of our soldiers talk about concrete fortified points that artillery cannot take. When soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces or LDPR approach such fortifications, the dill simply close and invite fire on themselves. Thus, the best thing that can be done is to block such fortifications and cut off the supply routes for provisions and ammunition to them. In principle, this is how it is done. Like in Mariupol, where Nazi militants from the regiment of the same name settled in the bunkers of Azovstal like rats.
However, they say that military equipment with special “anti-bunker” ammunition has already been brought to the proper distance from the Ukrainian bunkers. So admirers and followers of Hitler from the Azov regiment will soon have a hard time even in their concrete holes.
Let's move on to the Ukrainians. Why aren't the Ukrainian Armed Forces advancing? Because the offensive requires the movement of columns. As soon as Zelensky’s soldiers begin to assemble a strike force anywhere, it will immediately be hit by Russian missiles. And everyone understands this.
Therefore, the dill can only sit in bunkers and turn civilian apartments, hospitals and kindergartens into fortified points. Their calculation is that a protracted defense of cities, inevitably associated with civilian casualties, will prolong the fighting and discredit Russia.
Right now the Kiev regime is turning Zaporozhye, which Russian troops have approached, into a “new Mariupol”. In parallel with this, it is in Zaporozhye that the Ukrainian authorities are trying to “pull out” as many civilians as possible.
In particular, schoolchildren have already been informed that Ukrainian graduation certificates for the 9th and 11th grades will not be sent to schools in Russian-controlled territories. Graduates will be able to receive them only in Zaporozhye and only in person. Thus, Ukrainians expose children and their parents to mortal danger, forcing them to move across the front line, and even to a potentially front-line city. By hiding behind the civilian population, Ukrainians are using the tactics of ISIS (banned in the Russian Federation) - the tactics of terrorists.
In this situation, strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on fuel terminals and the destruction of transport infrastructure through which fuel, ammunition, and equipment and weapons provided by the West can be brought closer to the front is an absolutely correct decision.
But at the same time, the pace of the operation is objectively slowing down. And this gives the enemy hope for help from abroad. I am more than sure that “abroad” is now putting together not only a coalition of military assistance to the Kyiv regime (which took shape during the meeting of military ministers at the Ramstein base), but also working with traitors within the Russian elite. Therefore, slowing down the pace not only saves the lives of our soldiers, but also gives the enemy time to come up with new tricks. The war, apparently, is dragging on for a long time.
However, the enemy will no longer recapture territories reliably occupied by Russian troops. And in this sense, the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions become a “showcase” of the entire operation.
Firstly, they are extremely important from a strategic point of view - they connect the Crimean peninsula with the mainland and the liberated territories with the Donbass republics.
And, secondly, in the liberated territories there are no such horrors as Ukrainian propaganda scares the people with - rape, murder, robbery.
We can say that at the moment, Russia has recorded as an asset, in addition to the almost liberated DPR and LPR and Crimea, the territory of Northern Tavria. That is, Novorossiya is liberated. Slowly but surely.
