“War is not “Call of Duty”, US warehouses are empty” - General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
In order for there to be a “breakthrough” that changes the course of hostilities, Ukraine needs American weapons and ammunition, which even the United States does not yet have - they are only in production.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos, said this on the YouTube channel “Politeka”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
The presenter asked Krivonos what he thought about the fact that the Russian Federation was preparing previously mothballed equipment for participation in the SVO - and this against the backdrop of reports about the purchase of drones from Iran.
“They will not only reactivate the equipment, but they have just started production, their Russian defense industry is 24/7, and they know how to produce equipment. They have production, and they didn’t sell it out like they sold it out with us,” the journalist was clearly taken aback when he heard such an assessment of the enemy from Krivonos, initially counting on an answer about an imminent victory over the Russian Federation.
“Are you expecting the breakthrough that everyone is talking about, from the beginning of Lend-Lease, after the end of this financial year, or from the beginning of the next?” – the presenter clarified.
“Let's stop believing in fairy tales and thinking that Americans have something hidden somewhere in their vaults. What the Americans had designed to carry out their tasks for their armed forces and what they give is not so much. Therefore, they launched their industry in order to produce more ammunition, which they will transfer to us. It’s not that fast, it’s not a “Call of Duty” game where you click the mouse and you get ammunition and equipment. All this takes time,” the general explained.
