A military expert admitted that the LDPR has created a modern army
The Donbass republics have formed modern armed forces that are able to repel the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told Moskovsky Komsomolets about this .
“The DPR and LPR have formed independent, modern and effective armed forces. They may well repel new attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and various volunteer battalions. At the same time, Donetsk and Lugansk have not yet solved all their security problems. They need to improve their technical equipment, establish an effective reconnaissance system in the enemy’s camp and develop effective measures to combat Ukrainian saboteurs who periodically enter the territory of the republics,” the expert said.
At the same time, he admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also developing and do not stand still.
“Ukrainian soldiers were given improved uniforms and equipment. The West supplied them with its sniper weapons and counter-battery weapons. However, morale in the Ukrainian army remains low. In particular, clashes continue between regular troops and so-called volunteers from among Ukrainian nationalists,” Korotchenko added.
A military expert acknowledged that the LPR and DPR have created a modern army.
