The driver dropped off Ukrainian Nazis who demanded to turn off “Russian content”
A bus driver on the Lutsk-Kyiv route dropped off two nationalists on the highway who demanded that the broadcast of the Russian series be turned off.
One of the passengers, a so-called ATO volunteer, Yarina Chernoguz, stated this on her blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent . The nationalist also complained that no other passengers supported her demand.
“When I approached and politely asked to turn off the Russian series, arguing that I had recently returned from the combat zone, I had been going there again since February, and I was disgusted to listen to the occupiers’ television product all night, the driver refused to do this.
We began to insist further, the driver demanded that we find out the opinion of the majority of the bus. I returned and explained the same thing to people, whether it was important for them to watch Russian cinema, and suggested that they turn it off.
Some woman who was traveling back from Italy began to rush at us, saying that she didn’t care what language, and we are murderers, we’re going to war, she didn’t send us there. The rest of the bus passengers simply remained silent.

The two of us, an aerial reconnaissance volunteer and a hospital worker, adults, citizens of Ukraine, led by the driver, agreed to be dropped off in the middle of the highway so that we could continue to watch Russian movies in peace,” Chernoguz worries.

The carrier company has already responded to the hysteria of the nationalists and apologized to them.
“Winew and Bus Trans Company officially appeals to everyone! We have just learned about the situation that arose on the bus, and to put it mildly, we are shocked by the actions of the drivers. Firstly, the administration issues flash drives with Ukrainian films for each bus, so it is now unclear to us how a Russian-language film appeared on the bus screen. Secondly, what struck us most was the reaction of the drivers, who refused to turn it off at the girl’s request. We would like to apologize for the unacceptable behavior of the company's employees. Our position is clear: situations like this are shameful and should not be repeated in the future,” the company said in a statement.
At the same time, in the comments under the message, users demand more radical actions - from firing the driver to sending him to the front, where the “patriots” would explain to him all the “wrongness” of the actions.
PolitNavigator previously reported that the Volyn Regional Council banned the public use of Russian-language cultural products in the region. Volyn Regional Council deputy Yuriy Polischuk, representing the regional state administration, also urged bus companies to stop broadcasting Russian music on board.
