Kyiv, November 3 (PolitNavigator, Mykhailo Ryabov) – An official split has occurred within Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi's Samopomich parliamentary faction. Last weekend, five deputies announced their intention to form their own group , which would operate independently of Samopomich.

The Raskolniks are representatives of the small Volya party, which was an ally of Samoposhchi, and whose representatives were included in the electoral list. Now, after the elections, Volya held a meeting where it decided that cooperation had been ineffective. One of the reasons for the discord is “inconsistency with the lustration and moral and ethical criteria” of the former partners.
The news of the split is being actively discussed on social networks. Commentators note that Samopomich, which positioned itself as a new generation of politicians, suffered the fate of the old parties - now squabbles should be expected in other factions of the new Verkhovna Rada.
