Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation Andrey Melnikov announced this at a press conference in Simferopol.
According to him, defrauded Crimean investors will be able to receive compensation within 10 days to a month.
“You will need to provide original documents, sign a statement of compensation payments and a request to the Ukrainian bank to provide information on its obligations to a specific client. After this, within 10 days, if such a register of obligations is received, positive decisions will be made. If the registers are not provided, then we will pause for up to 30 days in order to enter into the negotiation process and clarify the amount of bank debt to clients. If the depositor’s funds exceed the amount of compensation of 700 thousand rubles, then he has the right to give us a power of attorney to represent his interests in collecting the entire remaining amount of debt,” explained Andrei Melnikov.
He also clarified that the deadline for accepting applications from depositors is limited and is one month.
