The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine confirmed that Lavrov was right
Ukraine under President Vladimir Zelensky will not grant special status to Donbass, as required by the Minsk Agreements, and will also seek changes to the document signed in 2015.
This was announced from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada by the Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Reznikov, who is the deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations in Minsk, emphasized that Zelensky opposes changes to the country’s Constitution for the Donbass republics.
“The President, during the December summit last year, made it clear to the leaders of the Normandy Format in Paris that there would be no changes to the Constitution of Ukraine to include any special status there, and this is excluded. Also, the president has repeatedly said that the Minsk agreements require changes.” This is the position that we defend in the Trilateral Contact Group,” Reznikov said.
It is noteworthy that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated in his latest interview that peace in Donbass will be impossible under the current Ukrainian government.
