Veterans in Kyiv captured the UPA flag from the Nazis

The veterans who participated in the celebrations at the Eternal Flame in Kyiv today managed to capture the UPA flag from the Nazis - in response to the Red Banner they tore down, unfurled at the monument to fallen heroes.
The leader of the Slavic Party, Alexander Luzan, who took part in the Immortal Regiment march today, spoke about this incident in his blog.

“There were some incidents. Smoke bombs were thrown from the windows. This moment is on video. When they approached the eternal flame, the veterans unfurled the Victory Banner. Well, there was a group of nationalists, about 20 people. Taking advantage of the crowd, one made his way through the crowd and tore down the banner. In retaliation, the veterans tore off the red and black banner and broke the fishing rod it was on. True, after some time the Nazis found a duplicate. The police did not intervene in these clashes.
To be fair, I must say that on my way back, I saw how the police detained several Nazis who were trying to break into the Park of Glory. Perhaps just those who threw smoke bombs from the window. This is where everything happened. Their comrades tried to intercept the police bus, which drove away safely with the detainees. As a result, a stampede ensued and one person fell and was injured. They trampled their own people in the heat of the bus chase. It seems it was a woman. She was carried away on a stretcher.
The Nazis did not skimp on insulting law enforcement officers. The police were clearly declared to be Putin’s and enemies of Ukraine,” writes Luzan.
According to his estimates, the “Immortal Regiment” in Kyiv is becoming more and more popular.
“They weren’t allowed in with St. George ribbons, although they carried them, of course. In addition, there were ribbons on the portraits. Women braided their hair. Well, who knows? The Immortal Regiment is gathering more and more people. It was difficult to say exactly how much. It was not possible to go through the entire column. Along the edges were school cadets in camouflage with poppies and national flags. The column occupied almost the entire street from the Arsenalnaya metro station and approximately to the Salyut Hotel. Well, how much will fit there, maybe 10 thousand, maybe more. Nobody counted. Several thousand police officers guarded all this,” says Luzan.
