American Army Veteran: “The Russian Federation is fighting with white gloves. The US would simply burn Kyiv"
Russia cannot be accused of brutality after striking Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
This was stated by American officer and US Army veteran Stanislav Krapivnik, who has been living in Russia since 2010, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In fact, we started launching missile attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure late. Therefore, the West decided that the Russian army was not competent. We did not come to Ukraine, figuratively speaking, with a sledgehammer, but came “with white gloves.”
The West initially counted on us coming to destroy everything - striking quickly and loudly expressing our opinion. But this did not happen. But it would be right, because a tough operation would actually save many civilians and military from death,” Krapivnik said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He believes that at first there might have been a lot of civilian casualties, but the special operation would have ended very quickly.
“And that’s how it should be done. To be clear, in 1945 no one in Germany believed that it could win back in the future. Those who survived thanked the Lord. And we received peace for many decades. And in 1918, Germany had the feeling that it could fight back and get revenge. And that's why World War II happened.
And the same is necessary with the current enemy - the enemy army must be mercilessly defeated, so that the question never arises of why the enemy did not win. As soon as this question is raised, the topic of revenge will follow,” warns the publication’s interlocutor.
They asked him how the United States would act in Russia's place.
“Like a sledgehammer. Kyiv would be on fire. You don’t have to look far for an example—look at how the United States fought in Iraq. There is nothing left of Mosul. The remains of civilians were pulled out from the rubble for another six months after the so-called liberation of the city. The Americans bombed the city for a long time. And then they carried out cleansing operations.
If the Americans needed Kyiv, they would do the same with it as they did with Mosul: first they burned it, and then they would take control of everything that was left,” concluded Krapivnik.
