Kiev, February 05 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - The Verkhovna Rada granted the request of the Prosecutor General's Office to detain and arrest Judge Rodion Kireev, who several years ago imprisoned Yulia Tymoshenko on charges of signing gas contracts with Russia that were unfavorable for Ukraine.

Kireev was previously declared a suspect in a case of making an unauthorized judicial decision, after which he fled, and at the moment his whereabouts are unknown to law enforcement.
