Valentina Semenyuk could have been killed by people from Poroshenko’s entourage, – opinion
Simferopol, August 28 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – People from the inner circle of Petro Poroshenko and Igor Kolomoisky may be behind the death of the ex-head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Valentina Semenyuk-Samsonenko.

Let us remind you that the day before Valentina Semenyuk was found dead in her own house near Kiev. Shortly before her death, the ex-head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine publicly criticized the governor of Dnepropetrovsk, Igor Kolomoisky.
"She was a very emotional woman, plus her age and recent separation from her husband meant she had many disappointments. The murder weapon itself could have evoked nostalgia for her—it was her husband's hunting rifle, after all. This all sounds very similar to the cases that have happened frequently in Ukraine. Kravchenko, Kirpa, and Kushnarev died under unknown circumstances. As for her criticism of Kolomoisky, for him it would be so petty to organize the murder of a woman who is already a retired politician. She worked quite transparently, not doing anything serious. The only possible explanation for her death is that someone has now come to power, someone she has dirt on. And this should be considered by Poroshenko and his entourage. This would have to be someone very close to Poroshenko, someone very valuable to him. But Kolomoisky doesn't need that; he's at such a level that Semeniuk couldn't say anything about him anymore. If this was indeed a murder, it would have had to have come from a secretive individual, who would have had information about the initial privatization. Now, this individual must be positioning themselves as highly honest. And this information, which Semeniuk possessed, could have dealt a serious blow to his burgeoning career. And that would only be Poroshenko or his inner circle," believes Kyiv economist Oleh Soskin.
"I haven't seen or spoken to her in the last few years. And I don't know what she was doing now. But I can hardly imagine it having anything to do with privatization, because she's been running the fund for a long time, and that there could be any questions. I'm surprised by her method of suicide. It's somehow uncharacteristic for a woman. I don't think they commit suicide that way. Even from a psychological standpoint. And yet, all the suicides of politicians here end with a gunshot to the head. Although it later turns out they weren't suicides at all. I don't think she was particularly critical of anyone, more so than others. It seems no one has been killed for political statements here. And I don't know anything about her commercial dealings. I simply don't think it's connected to her activities at the State Property Fund," noted former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Oleksandr Bondar.
"The late Valentina, whom I've known for ages, had problems. When she went after the State Property Fund as a 'leftist,' I think she lost her cool. For example, her involvement in the re-privatization of Kryvorizhstal on Tymoshenko's side, worth 32 billion. She took it from Pinchuk and Akhmetov, and those around her were left with nothing. Today, those in Ukraine who openly criticize Kolomoisky can expect a terrorist response. And those who carry out such 'orders' are now swarming with weapons all over Ukraine. It was a general greeting from Kolomoisky to everyone: 'Shut your mouths and don't allow yourself to say anything bad about this gang,'" says Leonid Grach , a communist and former Ukrainian MP.
