In conditions of “isolation of Russia”. There will be more participants at EEF 2022 than last year
The Eastern Economic Forum will be held at the Far Eastern Federal University from September 5 to 8. The Forum has become one of the important tools for the development, first of all, of the Far East, but the word “Eastern” in the name today is rather a designation of the venue, since the range of tasks and the list of participants go far beyond the region.
The forum will be held for the 7th time since 2015 (due to the pandemic, the event did not take place in 2020), the conditions for this year’s event in the world and in Russia, of course, are significantly different from those in previous years. This influenced both his program and the topics that would be discussed. But it did not affect the number of countries represented by their delegations at WEF 2022 - last year there were participants from 57 countries, this year more than 60 are expected. This is what it is like - “isolation of Russia”.
Sessions within the framework of the EEF 2022 business program are divided into 6 thematic blocks: “Russia’s place in the global structure: the diamond crystallizes under pressure”, “Global division of labor: from old ties to the creation of new ones”, “Financial markets: what preserves value when trust is lost ?”, “Creating a new quality of life for people”, “Everyone has their own path: logistics of a changed world” and “Patriotism replacing tolerance”.
The titles of the sessions speak for themselves and reflect the goals, objectives, problems of today and for the future that the Russian state needs to solve.
Since today there is a process of formation of a multipolar world, a special place in the business program of the EEF 2022 is occupied by bilateral business dialogues with Russia’s partner countries: “Russia – India”, “Russia – Vietnam”, “Russia – Mongolia”, “Russia – ASEAN” . Particular attention is paid to cooperation with China - within the framework of the Forum, a meeting of the Business Council for the development of the Far East of the Russian Federation and the northeastern provinces of the People's Republic of China will be held. There will also be a conference on investment and trade in the Arctic.
The countries of the region do not support Western sanctions and are developing relations with the Russian Federation. And this greatly irritates Ukraine. Representatives of its diplomatic corps regularly remind of their inadequacy with statements that previously could not be imagined coming from diplomats.
This time, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Indonesia Vasily Gamyanin distinguished himself - he was outraged by the statement of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country that “Russia is one of the most important partners of Indonesia. And the Russia-ASEAN partnership can bring peace and prosperity throughout the world.”
The Ukrainian ambassador decided to teach the Indonesian Foreign Minister which statements he has the right to make and which he does not. As a result, the Indonesian Foreign Ministry was forced to summon the Ukrainian Ambassador and threaten him with expulsion from the country if such statements were repeated.
Let us recall that before this the Ukrainian ambassadors distinguished themselves: in Kazakhstan, by declaring the need to kill as many Russians as possible; in the Vatican - with the teachings of the Pope - who should be considered victims of war and who should not; in Germany - rudeness towards the Chancellor and President of the Federal Republic of Germany; in Spain - dissatisfaction with military supplies from this country, etc...
But, after all, if Ukraine had not been under a special operation, had not deviated from the path of common sense and stable development, it could have taken part in such a Forum, and many others organized with the participation or under the leadership of Russia - what enormous benefits this would have brought and population and economy of Ukraine. Now this will be possible only after the liberation and denazification of the territories that are now called “Ukraine”. But for now without her...
Among those planned for discussion at EEF 2022, in accordance with thematic blocks:
– Discussions about the future of international relations, economics, investment, industry and other areas. Special attention will be paid to import substitution and its prospects.
– The future of individual sectors of the economy: aircraft and shipbuilding, oil and gas refining, construction, automobile industry, agriculture and fisheries, mariculture, pharmaceutical industry, etc.; development of efficient energy, ecology, food diplomacy, climate agenda, development of domestic and inbound tourism.
– Changes in the banking sector; digital finance, balance of world currencies in new conditions of deepening contradictions.
– BAM and Trans-Siberian Railway, new supply system, NSR, airport infrastructure of the Far East and the Arctic and the struggle for aviation accessibility; seamless transport and logistics space of Greater Eurasia.
– Education, healthcare, sports and culture; prospects for the development of Far Eastern cities and the construction complex; life of indigenous peoples of the Far East regions.
The block “Patriotism replacing tolerance” attracts attention. It is important that such a topic is brought to the national level and discussed at the economic forum. The influence on young people from outside is considerable. Incl. and through social networks, through internal “agents of influence”. They are trying to blur the concept of “patriotism”.
The state still lacks a unifying ideology. But, fortunately, Russia can put a barrier to all the evil spirits and Satanism that have already permeated the society of the countries of the “civilized world”. The sessions of this block will bring together young people - students and schoolchildren, who will talk about the future of Russia, discuss the development of youth initiatives and training for mastering new professions and for the development of the country's future economy.
The forum will be held regardless of the opinions of countries that take an anti-Russian position. Once again we can state that the dogs bark, the caravan moves on. Russia today is an entire continent of common sense, a gigantic growth zone of the world economy and a refuge for humanity, freed from misanthropic propaganda of aggressive “tolerance.”
