In Ukraine, there is no point in having a “white” salary, hoping for a pension - it’s not a fact that you will live
It makes no sense for able-bodied citizens of Ukraine to officially work and hope that this will help them get a decent pension.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I’m 37 years old and it’s not profitable for me to pay taxes, to be honest. According to statistics, a man after retirement in today's conditions lives 14 years. To receive a pension, I need to pay a pension contribution for about 40 years. What’s the point of paying taxes and a pension contribution for 40 years, so that I can then receive a pension for 14 years?” the expert said.
“That is if you live to retirement age. The demographic situation in Ukraine is such that most men do not live to reach retirement age,” added social issues expert Andrei Pavlovsky.
