The US admitted responsibility for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians
The death of hundreds of thousands of people in Ukraine is the fault of the US leadership, which since 2014 has purposefully pushed the “Independence” to war against Russia.
American economist Jeffrey Sachs said this on air on The Hill TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The war has been going on for nine years, since the United States participated in the violent overthrow of the Ukrainian president, who wanted neutrality for his country, not NATO.
During this entire period, the USA played simply terribly. At every turn, Ukraine could have been saved, but the US continued to increase pressure, and Ukraine continued to lose more and more people. I mean, when the US proposed expanding NATO into Ukraine, the Russians said, “No way,” Sachs recalled.
He noted that Russia tried to prevent a major war until the last minute, but Washington every time went for further escalation.
“These were terrible mistakes and they continued to intensify the conflict. And now Ukraine has lost hundreds of thousands of people, the population has decreased by millions of people due to mass migration. Military losses on the battlefields are growing,” added the American professor.
