“A Just Russia” does not want to punish for maps of the Russian Federation without Crimea
Oleg Nilov, deputy head of the “A Just Russia” faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, does not consider the law on a fine for cards without Crimea to be relevant.
He stated this to the DumaTV YouTube channel, a Poitnavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t see a tool for implementing this, even if it may be a normal idea. Let the author demonstrate it to us, if it comes to that, and the bill will go to the State Duma. But we have thousands of bills that are more important for Russians, and we cannot consider them for years,” Nilov said.
It was previously reported that Crimean senators Sergei Tsekov and Olga Kovitidi were in favor of a law introducing a fine for using maps that do not list Crimea as part of the Russian Federation. However, the bill introducing fines for maps that do not list Crimea as part of Russia was later withdrawn.
