Not on the lists, or What’s missing from the sanctions soup
And for some reason, few people living in Ukraine aren't surprised when they look at the Russian sanctions list . It's immediately obvious that it was compiled in a hurry. And it's clear that if its compilers leave the Moscow Ring Road, it's only to the airport, and from there, far, far to the west.
Why did they decide this here? Yes, it’s very simple: the locals were not consulted. Otherwise, the list would look a little different, it would be wider and more accurate. In addition, it is noticeable that we consulted with some smart people in Moscow who have business partners in our area. They told them the names of the enterprises and that the most prominent oligarchs should not be touched directly. They can sue and win.

Therefore, we limited ourselves to only enterprises, junior partners (Bogolyubov instead of Kolomoisky) and businessmen from the second ten (Kosyuk, Yaroslavsky and others), making an exception only for Pinchuk. And most importantly, they violated the old principle formulated by Comrade Stalin: the son is still responsible for his father. But not for “Roshen” and not for “Bogdan”, which are not on the list.
So, let's figure out what else is missing in the soup. First of all, artists or, as our humanists say, mytziv. So, for example, of all the offspring of the late director Ilyenko, only his son, a deputy, was included in the list, and his other son, Philip, who is in charge of all Ukrainian cinema, is not there.

Philip Ilyenko.
You won’t find comedian Zelensky on this list either, who has been asked to appear on more than one sanctions list.

And there are no former KVN players there - neither Kharkov nor Odessa. And those, by the way, called for “everyday separatists” to be caught, and mocked at human tragedies. You understand that organizers of closed parties in the Russian Federation are accustomed to them, and few people want to get rid of almost full-time jesters.
Apart from Minister Nishchuk, there is not a single People’s and Honored Artist of Ukraine on this list. And what do you want? After all, they demand a little less for filming in Russian TV series and corporate events than their Moscow and St. Petersburg colleagues. There’s not even Ada Rogovtseva or Anastasia Prikhodko there. Former people's deputy from the Svoboda organization Bogdan Benyuk is also not on the list. This Nazi seems to have been given the right to play Jews in Russian cinema.
The humanitarian community is not represented at all on the sanctions list. The fact that Vyatrovich ended up there is rather an exception than a rule. And even then he got in only because he holds a public position. And his other employees, for example, or the xenophobic professors wiping their pants at the institutes of the history of Ukraine and the Ukrainian language, remained beyond the attention of the authors.
It’s good, of course, that political scientist Golobutsky was caught. Somehow they heard about him within the Moscow Ring Road. Where are such instigators of ethnic hatred as Romanenko, Fesenko, Garan? It is immediately clear that none of the invited advisers not only watches Ukrainian TV, but does not even read the most popular Ukrainian sites. Otherwise, Dmitry Gordon would probably have ended up there at least.

Although with TV channels it’s not so simple: the leaders of some of them were precisely named. And this is not surprising. The same Tkachenko worked for many years as a correspondent for NTV, and others in various positions signed agreements for the retransmission of Russian films and television programs. But the compilers of the list watch porn for sure. You could even add: gay porn. Otherwise, how would Vitaly Portnikov get there? Now, finally, this Ukrainian activist will not satisfy the demands of Russian passivists. Apart from him, no incendiary journalists were included in the list. Petty, experts experienced in geopolitics will say. May be. Is it a big deal to make mistakes in proper names?
The authors know nothing, or rather almost nothing, about local authorities. There is not a single governor on the lists, not even Nikolaev, there is not a single mayor, except perhaps Filatov. But he is completely odious. But there is a former mayor, long retired and living outside of Ukraine - Chernovetsky. So the question is, why? It seems that in order not to include Vitali Klitschko there. By the way, where is he? That's it! And the Lvov garbage collector and part-time glamorous Nazi from Sadova’s “Self-satisfaction” party is also clean for Russian, so to speak, researchers.

If the compilers had asked experts on Ukrainian realities, then the artist Poyarkov and Roitburd, and the writers Zhadan and Shklyar, and the poet Khersonsky would have been there. And they also ignored those would-be human rights activists who never once spoke out in support of the longest-serving political prisoner - Russian citizen Yevgeny Mefedov. And many more.
And the hedgehog understands that the document needs to be finalized. We can only hope that additions are inevitable.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky was surprised by the absence of those leading the aggressive anti-Russian campaign on the Kremlin's list .
