In Slavyansk another helicopter shot down by the Ukrainian military
Slavyansk, May 05 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Slavyansk, rioters managed to shoot down another military helicopter.

“Today, at about 14.30, while carrying out a combat mission and approaching a target in the Slavyansk region, a Mi-24 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down,” the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports.
As a result of the helicopter crashing into the river, military pilots survived. The operational team of the Anti-Terrorist Center evacuated them to the camp.
It has been preliminarily established that the machine is knocked out with a heavy machine gun.
As Navigator reported, on May 2, three helicopters of Ukrainian security forces were shot down over Slavyansk. The militia said the military abandoned the wounded pilot.
Today, the Ministry of Defense announced the active use of military aircraft during the anti-terrorist operation, in particular, to destroy the "armored train" of rioters.
