In Sevastopol, a criminal sold a stolen chinchilla to a butcher shop

Sevastopol, December 28 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Puras) – In Sevastopol, police officers managed to identify and detain a dacha thief, who has committed about a dozen crimes in various gardening partnerships in the city. He turned out to be a previously repeatedly convicted citizen of Ukraine.

During the period from October to November of this year, he entered garden houses by breaking windows, from where he stole household appliances, power tools, cables and other utensils.

However, in one of the houses, there was nothing at all to profit from except an electrical extension cord, and then an experienced thief's eye discovered a frightened animal in a cage - a chinchilla. Without thinking twice, the criminal took an exotic animal with him and went straight to the Yumashevsky market in order to sell the stolen property. And if they managed to sell the extension cord for next to nothing right away, no one wanted to buy the chinchilla. Having walked around the entire market, the villain was already desperate to get rid of the rodent, but then someone advised him to go to a butcher shop located nearby - maybe he could sell the animal there.

In this meat store, the criminal actually managed to get rid of a chinchilla for 300 rubles, telling the seller that he was leaving and had no one to leave the animal with.

Investigators managed to identify the woman who bought the stolen animal. As it turned out, this sweet lady named Natalya has a passion for animals, maintains and cares for an entire home mini-zoo, and did not at all think anything bad, as might seem from the title of this article. The chinchilla was seized by police and returned to her favorite cage from where she was abducted.

But the dacha thief will also have to spend the coming years behind bars. A preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen against him, and an investigation is underway.
