Ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, according to whom Russia is conducting operations in Kyiv “through the hands of the SBU.”

“The SBU officers who detained me - they are such “scoops”, this is such “cotton wool”. They admire so much: yes, Putin, they say, would twist these guys into a ram’s horn. This is when the car [was attacked]. Do you know what they said? They cursed Poroshenko and said: “Putin would have put them all in prison.” For them, the ideal is Putin,” said Saakashvili.

As a reminder, SBU officers initially detained Saakashvili on a rooftop , where he was attempting to escape security forces. However, just a few hours later, associates of the former Georgian president attacked the car containing the detained Saakashvili and freed him.
