Industrial practice is returning to Russian schools - just like in the USSR
The Soviet experience of industrial internships for schoolchildren, in which children learned blue-collar jobs, is returning to Russian education. For this purpose, the relevant ministry has developed a concept for a new subject “technology,” Education Minister Olga Vasilyeva told the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation today.

“Students should engage in community service activities and develop professional skills. There are not only new approaches to “technology,” but there is also an “agriculture” direction,” Vasilyeva said.
It is planned to improve the training of teaching staff, modernize material and technical equipment, and provide professional guidance to students, in particular, in agricultural professions.
Industrial training is returning to Russian schools, as it did in the USSR.
