In Russia, Le Pen would have defeated Macron with a crushing result

Only 8% of respondents sympathize with her opponent in the second round of the French presidential election, Emmanuel Macron. A quarter of Russians (26%) do not sympathize with any of the candidates who made it to the second round
Every second Russian (55%) is interested in the election campaign in France. According to 57% of citizens, the outcome of the presidential race in France will be significant for Russia. A third of Russians (35%) consider the voting result not too important for our country.
Among the candidates, Le Pen became the most recognizable in Russia; 71% of respondents have heard or know about her. Second place was shared by Francois Fillon and Emmanuel Macron - every second person has heard of them (52% and 50%). And the name Jean-Luc Mélenchon is familiar only to every third person (34%).
