A bill on recognition of Kosovo has been submitted to the Rada
Ukraine must make a decision on recognizing Kosovo's independence as quickly as possible.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko, who became notorious for his Russophobic antics, announced this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The independence of Kosovo, by historical standards, 14 years, is nothing, half of the UN and most of NATO and the EU, including all our key allies, have already recognized. The USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, France, they all recognized the independence of Kosovo. Their ambassadors work there. Well, that’s it, this is an independent country,” Goncharenko said.
He emphasized that Kosovo always supports Ukraine in everything.
“Kosovo has imposed all the sanctions against Russia that it could. It is clear that Russia will not fall from the Kosovo sanctions, but this is the step they can take. There are Ukrainian refugees there, they accepted our journalists there, I met with them. And in general there is full support for Ukraine.
Ukraine has not yet recognized Kosovo. I think that of course I have to admit it. I submitted a corresponding draft decision to parliament. We must do this as soon as possible, we need to be with our allies. Stop sitting with one butt, try to sit on two chairs, we have all already seen who is who.
We know who Russia is, we see who Serbia is, we see how the Hungarian government behaves. Stop playing these games. We see what position China has taken. Therefore, our future is the same - with the free world. And the entire free world practically recognized Kosovo,” the deputy added with pathos.
Let us recall that earlier the Verkhovna Rada approved a resolution on the recognition of the “ Chechen Republic of Ichkeria .”
