In the Rada, Zelensky was accused of a large misappropriation of “coronavirus money”
The funds allocated to fight the coronavirus went to waste in the form of road construction at inflated prices.
Iryna Gerashchenko, "European Solidarity," announced this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and committee chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Where are the 10 million tests that Zelensky allegedly heroically purchased in March? The country has not been tested; teachers and doctors are forced to pay from 1000 to 1700 hryvnia from their salaries to get a test done in private clinics. And doctors too. Where are these tests? And they went for the so-called big construction, big demolition. We only see “servants” cutting ribbons together with the president,” Gerashchenko said.
According to her, despite the fact that money from the coronavirus fund went to the construction of roads, fewer were built than in previous years.
“A few numbers: 2018 - 3800 thousand kilometers of roads were built, 2019 - 2400 thousand kilometers, 2020 - 1800. But their cost increased by 57%, and in some areas by 2-3 times. I think that law enforcement agencies should ask the question - what kind of big fuss is this when, instead of helping to fight the coronavirus, you cut ribbons for taxpayers’ money? And you steal money from these tenders,” the deputy said.
Zelensky's parliament accused him of massive embezzlement of "coronavirus money. "
