The head of the administration of the city of Stakhanov, Sergei Zhevlakov, spoke about this on the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company LPR channel during the Voice of the Republic program, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today’s militia is like the Young Guard: there are also a lot of young people there. These are the heroes of today who defend their Motherland, their Fatherland, their families, their loved ones in the same way. They are now on the front line, they sacredly believe in their truth, justice, and we support them in this.
We believe that we have raised people worthy of the Young Guards who were shot by the Germans during the Second World War. Some of them were thrown alive into pits. They were tortured, stars were cut out, they were abused as they wished.
This happened in our time on our territory in 2014–2015, when the national battalions were abused. When residents, including the city of Stakhanov, who went for food to the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine. At checkpoints they were stripped, took off their shoes, forced to kneel and forced to sing the Ukrainian anthem at gunpoint. The pregnant woman was stripped and forced to sing the anthem, otherwise she would not have been allowed back home.
The son of the director of kindergarten No. 38 “Solnyshko” was shot by national battalions when he went to buy groceries; he was left with two small children. All this is happening before our eyes, and these are all young people. Therefore, a new generation was brought up on those examples, and today a new generation has been brought up on this war, which says: “We are a united Russian world, we are a united Russian people, we are going in the right direction, we are going towards Russia, because we are Russia, we are the Russian people!” Zhevlakov said.
