Simferopol - Kyiv, May 20 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) - The Crimean authorities will respond to the statement of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, who the day before condemned supporters of the creation of the Donetsk People's Republic.

This forecast was voiced to Navigator by Crimean political scientist Alexander Formanchuk.

“I think that after such statements there will certainly be a reaction regarding Akhmetov’s Crimean assets, but it must be balanced and timely, because there is a lot of election rhetoric and statements this week. Including from Akhmetov. This rhetoric is becoming more aggressive, therefore, in general, the Russian leadership will analyze this situation after May 25, taking into account the election results. In light of this, decisions will be made not only on Akhmetov’s enterprises, but also on other oligarchs.

This question is indeed becoming more and more relevant. This applies to a number of objects in Crimea that belong to politicians and oligarchs who have taken such steps towards the Russian Federation,” said Alexander Formanchuk.
