In Nikolaev, a pensioner drove into the eye of the main Tyagnibokov member, defending the red banner
Ukrainian nationalists disrupted the May Day march of communists in Nikolaev, who gathered in the city center, despite a court ban.
As soon as members of the Communist Party of Ukraine and their sympathizers began to gather, Maidan activists appeared here. One of them defiantly displayed a poster with the inscription “Putin is scum” and unflattering statements about communists. A verbal altercation ensued, reports the local portal Novosti N.

Passions flared up even more when one of the pensioners tried to unfurl a red banner. Maidan activists immediately attacked him. However, in an unequal fight, grandfather managed to hit the main local Tyagnibok fighter, Demid Gubsky, in the eye. He began to grab his eye and demand that the police detain the offender.
Law enforcement officers eventually took the red banner from my grandfather and took it inside the cordon, where the main group of communists was located. The Leninists had to abandon plans to hold a march and read out the resolution under the protection of police officers and the singing of the anthem by nationalists.
