Moscow put Ukraine under the knife
The head of the LDPR faction, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, clearly demonstrated how the division of Ukraine can happen, whose authorities again and again confirm the reputation of the former Soviet republic as a failed state.
The parliamentarian published a corresponding video on his VKontakte page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In the video, Zhirinovsky in his office in the State Duma cuts a cake made in the form of a map of Ukraine with the Donbass republics that have separated from it. Deftly wielding a knife, the deputy cut off the western part of the country from the eastern, “leaving Kyiv with what it came with.”
“I always said that under the rule of Kyiv there are lands that never belonged to Ukraine. All of New Russia, all the territories on the left bank of the Dnieper are Russian lands! And they will return to the rule of Moscow. Journalists from the Rossiya-1 TV channel gave me a cake that symbolizes today's Ukraine. We divided this Ukraine fairly. A third remained Galicia, a western Ukrainian pro-European territory. Everything else is under the Russian flag. It will happen inevitably! – said the leader of the LDPR.
As a reminder, Vladimir Zhirinovsky previously stated that issuing Russian passports to the Donbass republics is necessary not only to legitimize the status of Russian citizens in the DPR and LPR, but also to end hostilities, as was the case with Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
