Moscow proposed sending a contingent of Austria, Finland and Belarus to the Donbass
Kyiv, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Peacekeeping troops need to be brought into Ukraine and a peace enforcement operation should be carried out with the participation of external forces. An expert from the Anatoly Sobchak Foundation, Sergei Stankevich, stated this on the air of the talk show “Sunday Evening”.

According to him, military personnel from countries that are not members of NATO can form this peacekeeping mission.
“An expert group is needed that will draw up a road map, and it was not the OSCE, but humanitarian organizations that were involved in the investigation of the shellings. We need peacekeeping forces, we can’t do without it. But the peacekeeping forces are composed of non-NATO countries. In Europe this could be Austria, Finland, Belarus. Because the tension is so great, cases of violation of the truce will again be numerous, and as a result, fighting will be resumed. We need a group of international mediators,” Stankevich noted.
