In Moscow they proposed putting an end to Ukrainian “independence”
The population of the territories that are part of Ukraine today lived in peace and prosperity only at a time when these lands were part of a single Russian state.
Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Council for Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, stated this on the TV channel TVC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We see from history that the inhabitants of Ukraine prospered and multiplied only when Ukraine did not exist, when it was part of one big state. Only when this happens will there be peace, prosperity and everything will be fine. Then the natives of Ukraine will become excellent cultural, state, and military leaders,” said Bezpalko, recalling how many people from Ukraine held high positions in the Russian Empire and the USSR.
“As soon as Ukraine gains independence, all this evaporates somewhere, like the Canterville ghost - bam and that’s it - a bloody stain remains on the tile,” the expert believes.
