The LPR predicts an economic breakthrough based on rapprochement with the DPR
The single economic space of the DPR and LPR will significantly accelerate the planned approximation of the republics’ indicators to the standards of the Russian Federation and further integration with Russia.
This was stated at the round table by Oleg Koval, Deputy Chairman of the People's Council of the LPR, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The program of socio-economic development, which was presented by the head (Head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik - ed.) is, of course, a serious, high-quality turning point in the development of our republic.
We understand perfectly well that planning, especially with the goals and guidelines laid down in this program, is the future, which should give us the opportunity to develop our republic and our society as a whole. Today we saw ways in which we will achieve these goals, and we saw concrete actions that will contribute to this.
First of all, this is an economic rapprochement with the DPR; we see that a single economic space is being created in which customs barriers, the movement of capital, people, and goods are erased, and we will get a serious effect when our enterprises receive an additional incentive for development. We understand perfectly well that the costs of transporting goods and customs clearance will be reduced.
We see that a unified financial system is being created, that is, it will be possible to make payments more quickly. We understand that the legislation in the economic sphere will be identical, and in this case there will not be the difficulties that our entrepreneurs experienced until this time. That is, this is such a serious breakthrough that is being made at the first stage,” Koval said.
“Next, we understand how industry will be stimulated, that is, we see how conditions will be created so that enterprises receive opportunities to increase wages. We see stimulating effects that lie in reducing ERU to 15%. We understand that an opportunity is being created to finance the activities of enterprises in the form of preferential credit opportunities and so on.
That is, the program today has mechanisms for its implementation and the goals that are stated there, namely, high socio-economic standards, which, as you remember, wages are 35 thousand in the republic, 40 thousand in industry, up to 45 thousand in the coal sector, increase in various social benefits. About the fact that it is written that wages will increase by 30% starting in January 2022. Today we see the guidelines that we are moving towards, these guidelines are close in time, that is, this is a short-term perspective,” the chairman explained.
“I want to say that we really see a document that will allow us to make a serious economic breakthrough in the near future. We understand that people who are in the LPR today have motivation to stay in the republic, to enter our educational institutions, to go to work at industrial enterprises. This creates a really great effect of the future that our republic has.
And if we compare the socio-economic standards that will be in our republic, then they are comparable to Russian standards, and this is another one of those breakthroughs that will allow us to move towards our goal - integration with the Russian Federation,” concluded Koval.
The LPR is predicting an economic boost based on rapprochement with the DPR.
