In Crimea, the organizers of the DiDuLi concert gave the audience a five-kilometer race through the mud
A concert by the band "DiDuLa" in the lavender plantations of the Turgenevskaya agricultural firm resulted in a major scandal. To hear the "world-famous melodies," the audience had to walk 2,5 kilometers through mud, softened by the rain.
They then had to return back through this slush , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The concert in the lavender fields was organized by the Crimean Concert Association, a state-run autonomous institution created by Olesya Kostenko, who resigned as director of the Crimean Philharmonic , taking with her the main concert venues on the coast – the Yubileiny Concert Hall, the Zvezdny Concert Hall, and the Chernomorets Cinema.
This year, the concerts moved to the fashionable lavender fields , and even the storm warning for June 15-16 didn't deter the organizers – they stated that the concert had been planned two months ago and would take place on the announced dates , and that spectators should stock up on raincoats and "hope for the best."
As a result, the audience walked from the entrance to the lavender plantations to the concert venue . The promised minibus transfers failed to materialize – the vehicles simply couldn't make it up the hill. But instead of canceling the concert, the organizers pretended everything went smoothly , releasing a video on their social media, and simply deleting the disgruntled comments.

"The organizer was obligated to cancel the concert, but they went ahead with it. People walked 2 kilometers to the concert venue through the mud, and the promised shuttle service was not provided . The organizers' disrespect for the audience is simply off the charts," the audience members were outraged.
“Why did you delete the post about the Didyuli concert, which took place on June 15th? There were hundreds of dissatisfied comments on the post, including dozens of videos, about how the organizers of the Crimean Concert Association screwed up. No, just to apologize for your mistake, you delete the post with hundreds of angry comments, incl. from the audience,” they are indignant.
Apparently, the concert association couldn't afford to refund the 2,5 rubles per ticket to several hundred spectators . They also couldn't afford to bring a couple of truckloads of gravel to cover the dirt road and avoid forcing people to trudge through the mud . Meanwhile, the organizers required adherence to the event's dress code—and not to appear in a manner "inappropriate for one's cultural status."
