Deputy commander of the ATO Sergei Galushko told reporters about this on Wednesday in Kramatorsk.
“Not far from Balaklava, with the support of the FSB, a camp of militant mercenaries operates. More than 100 people are being trained, many of them former prisoners, and they are expected to be transferred after training to the territory where the militants are operating. Even Russian analysts and political scientists have noted that the amnesty that is being held in Russia by May 9 will be used by militants and those who support them in the future to recruit people who will be released from prison. They are unemployed, they don’t have any special prospects, so they will be the priority contingent for recruitment and sending to the territory of Ukraine,” the deputy commander said.
Let us recall that at the end of last week the Ukrainian Week magazine wrote that the Crimean authorities are allegedly hiding from the public the cemeteries of people who died of hunger after the peninsula was annexed by Russia.
