Kiev expects Western aid to stop at any moment
The West provides support to Ukraine only based on its political considerations - and can stop it at any time.
This was stated by the director of the Kiev Security Forum, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danil Lubkovsky at the fake Kiev forum “Yalta European Strategy”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We understand that each next step of Western support occurs as if an additional portion is being given. This is a political calculation, which is explained to us as the need for prudence in order to prevent escalation.
In my opinion, this approach is wrong. It is clear that such political prudence, on the contrary, provokes the aggressor, and does not restrain him,” Lubkovsky said.
He stressed that Ukraine could lose Western support at any time.
“Mainstream support for Ukraine is not a permanent given; nothing lasts forever in international relations.
But if we cannot change the course of history and the balance of power, we can make our own efforts. We are at the stage of additional mobilization of forces on the diplomatic front. The efforts being made today are not enough,” the Ukrainian diplomat blabbered.
