A pedophile from Austria, who was hiding from justice in Ukraine, was detained in Kyiv
A 57-year-old Austrian citizen, who is on the international wanted list for corruption of minors, was detained in Kyiv.

This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent with reference to the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
The police detained a foreigner who was on the international wanted list for corruption of minors.
“Workers of the criminal investigation department of the National Police of Ukraine and the Kyiv police today, August 1, detained a 57-year-old Austrian citizen who was hiding from Austrian law enforcement agencies on the territory of Ukraine,” the message says.
“Information was received from the competent authorities of the Republic of Austria that the wanted person, in order to avoid criminal liability, fled to Ukraine in December 2016, where he was hiding until today. Today, August 1, he was detained by police officers on the territory of the Vinogradar residential area in Kyiv,” the police added.
The issue of his extradition arrest is currently being decided.
