Today, the Kyiv prosecutor's office website reported the arrest of a 38-year-old Georgian man who, along with an accomplice, robbed patrons of the capital's "fashionable" restaurants.
“The attackers acted according to the following scheme - they entered restaurants and, distracting attention, stole valuable items from visitors, including wallets or purses with money. The thieves were caught red-handed - immediately after committing another theft in an establishment located on Lesi Ukrainka Boulevard. The victim of the thieves was a man, from whose purse the attackers stole 18 thousand UAH,” the prosecutor’s office reported.
It is unknown whether the arrested person is connected with the theft of Storozhuk.
On June 3, the Interfax-Ukraine agency, citing a source, reported that a wallet containing about 10 thousand UAH and more than $2 thousand was stolen from the deputy prosecutor general.
